James , thanks for all the help . We badly need the " cheat sheet to answer evasive arguments by critical race theory in close quarters debates " . Like when they say there is a legacy of slavery , it has to be said there is also a legacy of the bloody civil war that left hundreds of thousands dead that this country hasn't totally healed from and it was over slavery . Or when they say America is systemicly racist , it has to be said America has systemicly combated slavery and racism , from the civil war down into the civil rights movement. Or ask " what do you not understand about critical theory in critical race theory ? And how there is a legacy from Marcuse , Angela Davis , into Kimberly Crenshaw down into Kendi and DeAngelo " .
