October 16, 2021 Update: Deer season started at the beginning of this week.  I enjoy hunting deer, but I've only hunted deer a few times, because most years I've had too many other things I was working on that were hard to justify taking time away from.  This year wasn't much different in that regard, but what WAS different is that this year I'd seen a lot more evidence of deer near my property over the months leading up to deer season.  In fact, when my wife and I got home from our trip to Yellowstone, we found deer tracks all over the garden area, and the deer had pruned our raspberry bushes pretty severely.  Thus, I figured that this year, it might be worth hunting just within walking distance of my house, and so I could hunt deer this year without taking as much time away from anything else.  So, I spent all my free time this week out hunting, until yesterday, when I shot the buck in the picture.  Then I spent all day yesterday cutting up the deer.  Now our freezer is full of venison, our raspberry patch has been avenged, and next week should be back to normal project work.
Anyway, this weekend I think I'll upload the random-observation video about the "invisible suppressors."
