Weekly Update: #20

Happy Friday, all! Hope your week's been going well!
As for me, I've been in show prep mode getting more jewellery made for next months shows. I've gotten seven new pairs of copper earrings finished which I shared yesterday, but still would like to get a few pairs of sterling silver earrings made before I have to pack everything up to take to the show.
So, despite the mad dash to get jewellery made, I did actually manage to sneak in a bit of writing too! I finished writing chapter seven of From the Ashes and I've already started on chapter eight. No further work on either the book resurrection or An Inkling of Magic this week so far, but, if show prep doesn't get in the way, I'm still going to try to write at least a bit more on each this week.
My other artwork is completely on hold until after this upcoming show, but, depending on whether I need to do a major restock afterwards, I may be able to get back to my paintings the following week despite still having one more show to go. Once both are finished though, I'll be hitting both the writing and digital art pretty hard as I have several goals I would like to make. Specifically, that I would like to finish the book resurrection, if not by the end of the year, than early next to aim for a summer release. If I can regain the writing momentum I had before the laptop gremlins ate the book, that should be very doable (I was writing about 10k+ words a week).
This coming Monday, the next chapter draft of An Inkling of Magic comes out for subscribers to read! September's chapter is also all ready to go and, once my shows are over, I'll be starting work on October's installment.
I'm still debating what sort of schedule will be best for when I start sharing chapters on Royal Road, so, any input of your thoughts or what you'd like to see would be appreciated. I had been planning on a one chapter a week per story, but, for all the reasons mentioned in last week's update post, I'm now thinking about an every other week schedule. Possibly, posting one chapter draft a week, but alternating between stories. I'd like to maintain at least a five chapter advance for patrons, so it may still take a bit of trial and error to find what sort of posting schedule (both on RR and here) will work best to achieve that.
And about wraps up this week!
Thank you all for reading and for your support and I'll see you back next week!
