Tales of My Guitars - Ibanez GSR 190 Bass
This bass was given to me when I worked at SunHawk Academy teaching music to recovering drug addicts. Someone had left it there and the owner was unknown at that point. I acquired the bass around 2011.

- It now has a bone nut. That is the only piece of equipment that is not original.
- The frets were checked out to make sure they were all seated properly, leveled and polished.
- The guitar went through a thorough set up to set string height, neck relief, etc.
- It has flat wound strings and is intonated properly. Very important for any guitar!
- The pickups and all electronics are original.
- The neck is thin and fits the hand perfectly.
It plays like a dream. For an inexpensive bass it is killer!
Check out the next video that I did about learning the notes on the fretboard by playing bass or at least bass lines on the guitar.
