April 9, 2021 Update: My major project this week has been mounting a red-dot sight on a pistol.  Normally, that wouldn't be a major project, but the pistol I wanted to mount it on didn't have an optics cut, and the slide was too narrow to machine a standard optics cut into it.  Thus, I ended up making a custom adapter plate and welding it to the slide, except that I machined the dovetail slightly too thin, such that the sight was loose, so then I had to make a special shim that would give me the right amount of material to clamp to.  Thus, I ended up filming a video about the best way NOT to mount a red dot sight on a pistol, although in the end I think I did get it mounted securely enough to be functional.
Anyway, this weekend I plan to upload a video about experimental shotgun slugs.  Its actually an experiment that I did quite a while ago, and I held off on posting it because I was planning to do a follow-up experiment, but at this point I'm still not sure when I'll find time to follow up on it, so I figure I'll just post it, and post the follow-up experiment whenever I get around to doing it.
