February 26, 2021 Update: Troubleshooting the 3D printer continued this week.  I've finally got it printing reasonably well again, or at least as well as I think I can get it to with this filament.  However, I would be hesitant to buy another spool of "SunLu" brand PETG.  Maybe by the time I use this one up, Hatchbox PETG will be back in stock, as that seemed to print very well.  Anyway, on the subject of 3D printing, I have continued my experiments with sabot rounds, and with a few iterative refinements to the load parameters and the sabot design I have greatly improved the feeding reliability.  I am hoping that with a little more refinement I will be able to get them to feed and function as reliably as factory FMJ rounds.  Meanwhile, I am still working on CAD design for project Ghost Eagle.

This week, Forgotten Weapons posted a video announcing that they are holding their international "Finnish Brutality" match remotely this year: to enter, you just set up the prescribed stage at any range that you have available, record a video of yourself running the stage, and upload the video.  Thus, I plan to participate in the remote match.  The stage that they described required a "kettle bell" weight, which I didn't have, but I made something similar out of a large rock and some scrap metal, so now I think I have everything that I need for the match.  I plan to run the stage tomorrow morning if the weather isn't too inclement, and then I'll upload that video as soon as I can get it edited.  

Speaking of video editing, I'm about caught up on my backlog of videos again: the new holster-making video is done, as are the duplex and sabot round testing videos.  For my regular upload this weekend, though, I think I will upload my tongue-in-cheek "taxonomy of trolls."
