First long draw of an EXCLUSIVE video!

And yes. I’m going to continue to all-caps the EXCLUSIVE part of that. It’s marketing.

Anyway, here we have the Freeman brothers as Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction. I figured it was an appropriate piece because Samuel L. Jackson voices Gin Rummy in the show and Rummy and Wuncler III are supposed to be somewhat of a parody of Jules and Vincent.

Anyway, the hardest part of this piece was staying as on-model to Huey and Riley as possible. Also drawing that damn gun in that front-facing perspective.

The perspective part was hard for obvious reasons. But the on-model part was hard because for some reason The Boondocks has such a specific look to it that trying to emulate it is more difficult than it would be for a cartoon that’s more “cartoony”.

I think this is mainly because The Boondocks is supposed to look “realistic”, so you can’t deviate off model to do crazy exaggerations like you would with Looney Tunes or some shit.
