This song has been a long time favorite of mine. It's all about love and the question, "Where would we be without it?"
I've tried explaining how the strum works in this video and I'm not sure that I've actually succeeded. There is an aspect to the main strum that I didn't explain when recording this video. It became apparent when I was editing. This aspect is how and when I hit the low E string and then mute it while playing the Em7 chord during the Intro and the first two lines of each verse. I may do a different video just on that strum. I've found that students generally have a hard time playing it.
We still have my son and his small family here until Sunday so I'll get back to finishing the cover next week.
