So I went to continue a barely-started script that I've been sitting on for a while and my computer has decided that the hard drive for my YouTube stuff doesn't exist anymore. Not that it has errors or it's breaking down, it's just vanished and is no longer recognized, both in windows and BIOS, for you computer savvy people. I've tried some things like changing cables, using a different data port, etc, and the only thing I haven't tried yet is installing it in a different computer which I will do tomorrow sometime.

This hard drive contained every video I've ever made, the project files for them (so I could re-edit things if I wanted), and most importantly, partially finished scripts and notes. The most relevant of these is all seasons of Breaking Down Breaking Bad since I had notes on every episode of every season and was just about to start working on Season 3 (with a couple paragraphs-long script that I won't miss).

If my other computer  won't recognize it, I'll look into data recovery, how much that costs, and how reliable it is. I can still make more videos, but for Breaking Bad I'll have to re-rewatch it as I screen record every episode off Netflix, plus make notes on every episode, basically redoing all the work that took up a ton of time for season 3 and up.

Besides that, expect other videos on a bimonthly schedule. Fortunately, my list of ideas was on Evernote so I could jot them down on a browser or my phone if I was in a  random place.

Wish my  hard drive luck on my other computer as I dig it out and brush off the dust.
