September 5, 2020 Update: Well, between the check-engine light illuminating on my wife's car and the battery and alternator both going out on my truck, I spent most of my discretionary time this week trying to get our vehicles operational again. Just this morning I finally got around to doing some more testing with my cast-bullet load for .350 Legend. Unfortunately, the horrendously poor accuracy persists. I suspect it is a barrel leading issue, although I have not definitively proven that to be the case. I think the next step will be to experiment with gas checks and/or homemade jackets, but in order to do that I will first have to make some dies so that I can make the gas checks and/or jackets. While I'm at it I may experiment some with bullet swaging as well. I am also planning a second round of testing with my leaf-spring steel target concept. So, between all this, the books I'm working on, and the new muzzleloader concept I'm starting to work on, I certainly have plenty to keep me busy.
