The Wonderer

How wondrous is this world, our home,
A blue-swirled rock, alone in space
Where alone life does roam,
By a sovereign and a once-off grace.
All manner of pied beauties roam
Here, some of them move in space.
Others move not, and so are grown
Goods for those that graze or chase.
Beneath this seeming sky-filled dome,
A being there is, with sensing face,
Attuned to right and wrong, the home
Of abstracts, logic and of Grace.
Behold, the peak of Logos’ plan –
The wonder and the gift of Man!
