Episode 148: No mistakes, only options - Eleonora Kalganova
My guest today is an internationally renowned tango instructor. She is based in both the US and Russia, but grew up in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
She's been dancing all her life, and studied a variety of genres. She graduated from the State Dance Academy of Tashkent, and became a principal dancer with the Alisher Navoi Theater of Opera and Ballet.
Lucky for us, she discovered Argentine Tango and became fascinated with its creative nature. Her years of rigorous dance study has given her deep insight into understanding body mechanics and movement, all of which comes through with her teaching and dancing.
