My guest on this week’s episode is Alex Magana, who wrote, produced and directed his latest feature film What Love Looks Like (2020), which tells the story of five couples living in LA and their ups and downs finding love and happiness in 2020.

We jumped into Alex’s experience directing and editing music videos, short films and web-series over the last decade in Los Angeles, why he choose to self-financed What Love Looks Like and what keeps him creatively motivate as an independent filmmaker.

My guests on this week’s episode are Noel Smyth and Fergus Grady, who directed and produced their debut feature documentary film Camino Skies (2019), which tells the story of six strangers walking the 800km Camino de Santiago to overcome personal trauma and tragedy.

We jumped into Noel and Fergus’s experience casting the six strangers walking the Camino, capturing their dramatic ups and downs along the trail and the technical and physical challenges they faced making their first award winning documentary film.
