Happy Bleedin' New Year.
Well, well. We made it to 2023: a fake sounding year that's all too real. I can't believe that I made it this far in life, just... in general. It's been a wild life of mine, but it's time to tackle things properly.
Last year was a bit of a cosmic wash as far as focus went. It was there and gone pretty badly, but I think I've landed in a place where I can accept my current work style and speed for what it is. I'm hoping that the months-long introspection will be a boon of positivity as far as works are concerned, and I'm looking forward to being even slightly more productive this year.
I'm working on the next chapter of I Found The End Of Everything. It's going to be a bit slow going because I'm trying so, so hard not to go back to earlier chapters and fix them. With a lot of writing and reading I've been doing lately, I've been fleshing out the characters and the world a lot. It's been helping take off the creative burden a bit, but even in my head, everything I've made so far is unsatisfactory, hahaha, but this is the first draft. I'll try not to touch things too much and fall into bad habits.
This year, I want to get the website up and running. I've been making a lot of wireframes and sketches as for what I want, but nothing really stands out to me. It's kind of killing me here. To have a clean, simple central hub for all my stuff would be great, but the looks and feel... -sigh.- I've been working really hard on just that level. Nothing seems to satisfy, but I'll make it a priority this year to get more ideas out there.
And that's all I have to announce! Nothing too wild, nothing too complicated. I did want to drop this on the first while I'm thinking about things and writing. Good luck to me, and I'll talk to you all soon!
